I wrote my first poem when I was  in the first grade. It was about the rain but I don't remember it too well now. I have written poetry off and on over the years but mostly in the 80's and 90's. At least, this is when I started keeping it. I would get up sometimes all during the night to write down some words I either dreamed about or thought about. I like writing about everyday life situations or things even though I don't do it very much anymore. I have had a few of my poems published just for sharing.
